Kate and Raffi's Destination Wedding at Lake Tahoe

One of the greatest aspects of working as an event planner is that I have the pleasure of working with a variety of people and trying to creatively design and coordinate an event that will satisfy their specific taste. When I have the opportunity to work with an incredible couple who wants a destination wedding…well let’s just say that is my specialty. Traveling is my ultimate hobby! Nothing compares to traveling to different locations all across the globe and enjoying what each destination has to offer. You can imagine my excitement when I finally arrived at the destination for Kate and Raffi’s wedding. What an amazing couple and what a beautiful wedding! Location: Lake Tahoe. The wedding took place at the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort. I’ll let the pictures speak for the rest, although they truly do not capture how beautiful the wedding and experience were…

Setup at a closer look.

The alter: Where the bride and groom exchanged vows.

The money box was hand made by the groom's father!

The bride's beautiful bouquet.
Feathers are becoming a staple in bridal bouquets!

The black and white themed reception created the perfect balance of simplicity and elegance.

Inside the white box were the wedding favors: a seed that will allow you to
grow your very own palm tree!

The table numbers were also hand made by the groom's father. A lot of creativity!

Carrot cake with cononut cream cheese frosting, poppy seed cake with bavarian cream and berries, and red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting.
This cake was not only beautiful but also delicious!
